Option 2 — By email
Can't sign in, or no longer have the app installed? Email us from the address linked to your account (the email you signed up with).
Email a deletion requestSubject line: “Delete my Expense Tracker account”. We'll confirm it's you and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, including your email address.
What isn't stored on our servers
Your financial data and backups
- Transactions, accounts, categories, budgets and recurring items are stored on your device, not on our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
- Backups, if you turned them on, are files in your own Google Drive. To remove them, delete them from there (in Google Drive: Settings → Manage apps → Expense Tracker → Delete hidden app data).
- CSV or PDF exports you saved are files wherever you stored them, so delete those yourself if you no longer want them.
Good to know
- Deleting your account can't be undone.
- If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel the subscription separately in Google Play — deleting your account doesn't cancel it.
- Back up or export anything you want to keep before you delete.
